The Colony at Pace University- Pleasantville (PLV) of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Incorporated was founded on a rainy day on March 13th, 2010 in Pleasantville, NY. Three young women Amanda Carter, Nikole Casimir and Fabienne Roc would be known as the founding members. On March 10th, 2011 with the addition of five new sorors - Saidah Bullock, Shinequa Charles, Jewel High, Whitney Hilton and Kate Melhorn - a charter was granted - Sigma Iota.
Guided by the extraordinary and unique women of the Delta Nu Sigma Alumnae Chapter, these young ladies continue to fulfill the mission of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. and strive to meet their fullest potential through scholastic achievement, public service, and overall campus participation while evolving into strong women and dedicated sisters.
